I just bought my axis and wanted to do somethings to it.
Has anyone installed hinges so the seats flip up instead of placing them on another seat?
I was thinking about doing a heater and a shower does anyone know where to shop for that? If anyone else has some ideas or things they did feel free to post.

The boat loves bow weight. I plumed a reversible pump in to fill a bow triangle bag. Makes a huge difference in the wake. Wired that into one of the Aux switches. My heater runs to the other. Remade the ignition panel to add another switch to remove the power to the stereo from the ignition. Bakes has all the switch covers, so everything looks totally stock.
I'd also recommend adding the Exile BT-40, or a similar unit to get Bluetooth for the stereo. I like the rear PNPs at 750, others go bigger. Some remove the rear tanks and replace with 900 or equivalent bags. May need to reprop based on ballast use. I run a acme 2313.

Lets see pics.

I ordered the makemakers plug and play kit to hook up my 350 summo bags. I'm going to have them make me a bow bag. What's the exile by-40? They guy I bought the boat from put a new transmission in with a tourqe prop so I think I'm good there. But my ballast pumps just stoped working only one is working and the pic of my boat won't load

Can you please post photos of your remade ignition panel? I plan to do the same thing but was wondering how to make it look good.
Do you have a link for the switch panels?

Are you looking for a link of the switch covers? The ballast cover is at Bakes. I used the stock "front" switch but put it where the first Aux switch was. The music switch cover was here: https://otrattw.net/CONTURA-V-STEREO-ROCKER-ONLY-VVPZC2G-500.html I made the panel out of 3/16" HDPE. Then I sprayed it with a rustoleum product that gave it a finish very similar to the tower. Angle of the picture makes the switches look a little off, but this was the only pic I could find.

As for making it look good, I made a template and measure everything out very carefully. The spaces in between the switches is even and specific. The space between the first switch and the edge is the same as between the last switch and the ignition and between the ignition and the other edge. I also used a router to cut the curves. First one I tried by hand, but ended up with one wonky corner.

Thanks for the pics. I forgot that they changed the Switches and Cockpit design between 2012 and 2014.

No problem. I assume the older versions, with rocker switches, are quite a bit easier to customize.
