Just thought I would share what I was told some of the changes to 2018 axis models may be
-T22 and A24 are getting "major" updates or decent amount of changes
-T23 basically the same with small changes
-New is the clamping racks are available and the big one is Power Wedge

Again this is what I was told from a decent source so don't be mad if its not all true...

Did not get price increase except that the board racks and wedge would be a pretty penny. Think wedge is $3500 but not sure if thats about the current price for manual wedge.

New A24 for sure. Clamp Racks can be added now so not a big deal. I haven't heard anything on the power wedge for Axis but anything is possible. I don't see it happening the price on the new Axis boats is already up so much plus that's one of the big perks of buying a Malibu vs Axis. I'm going with a Malibu this time around again Axis is just no longer a price point especially when you load it up with options.

Man if they put power wedge on Axis the gap on pricing will continue to narrow with Malibu. Not good marketing IMO

Ive seen this price gap narrowing comment a few times. What is the current price gap assuming they have about the same needed accessories. Like whats the difference between a T23 and LSV23 and is it worth it IYO.

Here a loaded T23 is mid 80's and 23LSV around 105 so 15 to 20 difference. The 23 wake/wave is there with the LSV of setup correctly. The Axis takes more weight to make the same wave and the power wedge is nice for adjusting. I'm personally going with a Malibu again this time but not because of wake or wave I just get better deals on Malibu and there an easy resell I buy and sell so much it makes sense for me but everyone is different.

The T series boats are getting the bathtub floor seat bases like the A series, so losing the carpet seat bases and they'll all be one piece. I wonder if that means the T is losing the port chillax seat or the A24 is gaining it?

With the redesign of the T22 do you guys think they will go away from the lines of the flat top deck and go with the rest of the Axis boats with a little deeper freeboard allowing for the notch down at back bench?

I hope so because the the cup holder area is to short on the sides, can't fit a Yeti 30 oz Tumbler and you lose a little head clearance on the tower. Those are my only two gripes after switching from my A22 to T23.

Power Wedge would be nice! As for price points I am sure they would still offer the auto set wedge or no wedge so build a boat the way you want and to the price point you want don't really see an issue with an "option."
