I had a question for all the T23 owners with the 450 engine. Can you get on plane with the front, center, rear tanks full plus 1,000 sacs in the rear and whatever you put up in the nose with the wedge down for WAKEBOARDING? Now I realize that elevation will be a factor, but I just want to know if it can be done with a couple people in the boat as well. I know for a fact the 350 cannot. Thanks in advance.

I have a T22 with 450 and I don't think so (at 4k'), but I'll try next time we're out, just for grins. It will definitely require a full bow triangle I think.

Thanks. I appreciate it. I know my A22 (335) can but I removed the hard tanks and have 1,100's in the rear and have the bow triangle sac on top of the seats. It will get up with about 5 people in the boat like that and the wedge down. Just wanting to know if the T23 could do the same. Potentially looking into one, but don't see any dealers with 450's around me to test out.

IMHO, the 410 to 450 jump isn't really worth it now that they are putting the gear reduction tranny on the 410. The 450 is just a tuned version of the same motor with a hot cam... it's not a bigger motor. So the difference between the two isn't that great.

I can't answer your exact question, but I can tell you that my 2015 with a 409 cannot do it at 6200 feet nor 3600 feet with 900s and the wedge down. Not even close. I bet I'd have to drop at least 1000 lbs to get that up on plane to wakeboard speed.
