smurph -- yes, you can use the open spots on your power and ground distribution blocks. You will also need to (obviously) run rcas to control the amp, as well as run a jumper wire from one of your current amps' remote turn on lead to turn on the new amp.
Then tune.
For tower speakers the amp's crossover should be set to high pass at 90hz (+/-) to start. To tune, set gains at lowest level, then set the HU (or EQ if you have one) to just the tower zone. Turn volume on the HU up to 90%ish (do same for EQ if you have one). With the volume(s) set at this level, play some very dynamic music (gasp, nickelback is actually good for this) and slowly raise the gain until you hear your tower speakers start to break up (sound bad/unclear). Back the gain off until the gain is as high as it can go and still retain great clarity.
enjoy!
if I am reading the correct only manual for my kicker head unit it looks like I have 4 sets of rca's so I shouldn't need any more correct
RCA front going to ht 6 front 2 xs 650 speakers (inboat)
RCA rear going to ht 6 rear 4 xs 650 speakers (inboat)
RCA zone 2 going to the dx2 4 icon 8's 2 ohm
RCA sub going to ht 2 12" JL sub? mono
does that sound right? sorry for all the questions its been a decade since I attempted a stereo install lol
thanks again !
