Pull my 7year old behind 2017 a20 starboard side wake cleans up nice but port side when adding h2o to ballast on that side will clean up some but wrecks starboard side wake, I have tried center ballast wedge up wedge down etc. FYI we pull him at 16 MPH, but have played around with faster speeds up to 22 MPH. How are you getting both sides clean?
Thx

Do you have a plug and play bow bag under the front cushions? Also just so you know the port side tank is 242lbs and the starboard side is 208lbs for a combined 450 in the rear, the belly tank is 350lbs. Thus giving our A20s the 800lb stock ballast. I run a extra 40lb pop bag under the rear starboard side cushion to even out the tank weights. Adding some more bow weight will help clean up your slow speed wake. I run 2500lbs plus wedge in my 16 A20 and the wake is clean. Stock 800, sumo 475s rear, wakemakers 400lb P&P bow sack and 300lbs of lead wake bags on top of bow cushions.

I pull my 7 year old with no wedge, no ballast at 18.5 at 55' and the wake is clean. We have an A22, same hull as an A20

tough situation. you need as little weight as possible in the boat. that's hard when you have a bunch of people and gear.

drain all ballast completely empty and try moving people to the front instead of the back.

I've been pulling my son since he was 3 (he is 8 now) behind an a22. The previous hull was super easy to clean up and you could get down to around 16 mph with a clean wake on both sides by doing nothing. The newer hull is better for surfing but a little more sensitive side to side. The best wake board set up for kids with the 2015 and newer hull is 18mph, no weight except in the bow and get 2 50lb bags of lead https://www.leadwake.com/. I move the lead around the cabin depending on who is in the boat and where they are sitting.
