So I yanked my gas tank cover to get in and pull a pump (mentioned the issue in another thread) and noticed this little guy.
If I'm looking toward the front of the boat this is on my left...im also hunting down a leak I think I found but the water trail called my attention to it. The reddish material I can feel in the hole is "rubber-like"
Any ideas? Anyone have the same rogue hole? I don't have easy access to the back side of this or I'd get a shot of that as well.

The hole to to allow for drainage from outside of the stringer assembly to the center of the bilge. The material is the bonding agent the factory uses to secure the stringer to the hull.
It is supposed to look that way.
