Acme now has a 15.5x13 and a 15.5x12.5. Both for 1&1/8 shafts. I wonder how much another 1/2" would help.

How much clearance between the prop and the hull do you think you need to not get prop burn?

I've read multiple posts from guys stating they've had about 1/2" with no burn on their Malibus.

I just measured distance from tip of prop to bottom of hull on my 16 A20 and it's 3/4", I'm assuming this prop will work giving you 1/2" of clearance still.

I'm interested in knowing more about this as well. I've been thinking of switching to the 2249, but may wait and see the developments of these new props.

Have you measured the distance between the hull and the prop on your T23? I feel like the gap is bigger than 3/4" on the aforementioned A20, but I'm not near my boat.

Not yet. I'm traveling so hope to have time this weekend to look into it more.
