Accidentally hit some drift wood in the trinity river this past season. I haven't noticed any performance decrease since it happened -maybe a slight high pitch noise but I'm probably just paranoid. Can something this small cause any real engine harm?

For those who have had prop damage, did you get get it repaired locally or send it off to one of these discount online repair shops?
What did it cost you?

See attached pics. Thanks for your advice.ImageImage

My prop repair guy (obviously biased) told me running on my prop that I had hit was very dangerous. Even vibrations you cant feel can damage the engine. I didn't notice anything either. Just what I was told by one guy. I'd have it fixed for piece of mind.

$80-$100 it looks like to me. I'm lucky to have one of the best prop shops in the country 45 min from me if I need them but lucky I haven't. Nettles Props in Austin, Tx

Same here. Typically $100 or so. I take mine to OJ Props since they are local to me. Last summer was the first summer we didn't have any prop damage issues.

Check with your local dealer and see who they use for prop repair. I would find someone local instead of sending it out.

Thanks everyone. I'll check out OJ props as I'm on lake Conroe too.
