Anyone have any ideas how you can video yourself wakeboarding when the only person in the boat is the driver?

I've seen these products but not sure how they would work on an Axis tower with speakers.

Depends on what quality you are looking for. I put a gopro on the plastic piece where you attach the tow rope. This makes the gopro swing with the camera. Not the best quality because the gopro doesn't do well at that distance, but it does the trick when I'm just trying to analyze or review.
The gopro rollbar mount barely fits, FYI.

I've used a GoPro, upside down, on a suction cup mount, on the underside of my Rev410's. it's covers a lot of the action. I'd say, if you have two cameras. Put one on each side and then stitch a video together with both sides on one screen.

I use the GoPro suction cup mount on the side of boat that the wake surfer is on. I also use the floating back mount and a small rope to secure it in case the suction lets go. Pictures are close up and you capture the wave action and movement into the movie. Then the driver has a remote to turn on and off the camera.

I also installed a stick on mount on top of the tower where the rope is tied off. I ran an extra power cable up the tower so we did not have to change the battery all of the time. The standard GoPro mounting bracket can be used and it is nice to capture sound of the music and boat noise, but the picture is a little distant.

I've got a clip below. Nothing fancy. But it shows how the camera will swing with the rope using the rollbar mount that I mentioned earlier.

The mount barely fits, but you'll be able to get it on there. Then you can tighten it nicely with a screwdriver. The driver should check that the camera and line are in-line after falls. Rope kick backs and shift things around.
