Noticed this past weekend that my center ballast is filling. Any idea why this would be occurring? Is there a valve to stop this and if so where would it be located. Any help would be greatly appreciated..thanks.

I'm surprised to here your having center passive filling, makes sense cause lower than front locker bag that for me has that same problem. Solution for both is valve handles in front hatch where center plug is located . The are even with but to the port side of the plug. We close both before slalom skiing, to insure small wake. Leave rope long for slalom Even empty for best quality . We do the rears in the engine locker sometimes as well. White pumps with blue handles, not motor water!

Remember thus is not a problem for the avg user, many do not slalom or cruise long or fast, and do not worry about passive filling, probkem is it only happens when empty, it won't "top off the tank", in fact opposite as you will have passive draining which is what most folks complain of is losing water and solutions to that or venting of air while filling sacs.

I have exact same boat manufactured on or about feb-mar 2014. Delivered 4/4?.
I had one immediate defect, could be problem. My center was wired backwards at the pump, fill when on empty, empty when on fill, you could have exact problem if previous user was a light user or this is a holdover???

I am the original owner and this seems as though this just started. So, these valves are located in the hatch next to the drivers seat??

Yes, but passive filling should have been happening all the time, did you modify the vent that is shared by front and center? This would be possibly the only new way this could start, if you've been filling all stock and pnp simultaneously then you would have had to verify your center draining only (not your problem but example on diagnosing) when full and switched to drain . you would have to have known that when empty and you flipped switch to drain and nothing would be coming out of 2 drain/overflow holes up front except the front pnp as it was switched to drain. If you have all of these covered than I can only think that it is coming from the shared vent and is filling that way? Before you close valves, fill and empty center all by itself and when it overflows drain it. Making sure it is or is not working properly when not in tandem with front pnp. Based on your production date, you could have my same factory flaw
Love my a20 except taking down tower to store . Here's our surf walk with driver and rated 3800 including fuel and wedge

I had this same problem on my 2014 A20. There is an anti siphon valve behind the dash. I started have problems when the zip tie holding the valve up broke. This valve needs to be mounted as high as possible above the water line to work. I had to remove the sub enclosure to gain access. The valve looks like

Thanks for the info. You said it's located behind the sub at the driver's feet. Right? Sounds like this may have to be an off-season project.

Yes. It shouldn't take too long to fix. Remove the kick plate that holds the sub. Mine is black plastic. There are only a few screws. Leave the sub attached to the kick plate. Remove the two speaker wires that attach to the sub. Remove and you will have access under the dash. This is what mine looked like inside

As you can see the anti siphon valve was flopping around on the floor board
