Wedge went from down to up on a double up

We were riding this past weekend and hitting a few double ups when the wedge went from the down position to the up/locked position and was completely jammed. While we were on the water we couldn't get it unlocked because the pins were not budging. Once back on the trailer, it unlocked and dropped like normal. I'm assuming riding back to the ramp, the wedge unjammed itself. Anyone else have this happen?

Never.. honestly don't see how it's possible to go up while underway.

I don't wakeboard with the wedge down, but I also don't see how it can go all the way up either without it hitting something to force it up

Pretty sure the prop would be destroyed first..?

Yea the prop, rudder andI possibly the tracking fin should get hit first but I've seen some odd shit growing up on the water. But I can't think of any other way for it to come up

Maybe some weeds got caught on it making is slam back when accelerating. I've tried to pull my wedge up while drifting forward and you can feel the foil pulling it down but if foil had stuff on it maybe it would not pull down???
