I have a 2016 A22 with the Monsoon 350 SS and the 1235, High altitude prop. My top speed is just under 33 mph, ballasts empty.
Seems I've heard of higher top speeds with the same set up. Maybe 38 to 40.

What's normal?

2016 T23 350 motor OJ945 prop also around 33mph.

I think it's the prop.

I had the 2249 and was at 38-40 top speed as well.

I'm at about 1100'.

Prop change.

Switch to the 2249 or 2247 and it will feel like an entirely new boat.

I started with the 1235 and was disappointed. Props mentioned above will up your top speed and operate much more efficiently.

My 15' A24 350 with the 2249 surfs well. 900's rear, horseshoe front and a 450 on top of the front seats. 1000' feet elevation. My top end is 36-38mph

That's our primary use of our 15 T22. Handles surf speed just fine. We run fly high 750's in the back and fly high bow bag under the front seats plus stock. I've had 12 in the boat with full ballast and never had a problem getting to surf speed. Need a few in the bow to run all that weight at wakeboard speeds.

Stock prop on 2016 A20. Just above sea level. Base engine. Top speed: 37mph.
