2017 Head Unit

So doing some looking around it appears Axis went with this Infinity Head Unit http://www.crutchfield.com/p_822PRV350/ ... l?tp=61742

I don't see how this is supposed to be a better performing unit than the KMC-20 with the black box? (minus the screen angle issue) Doesn't even look like it has Zone 2/Tower outs/control.

I wonder what happened to make them switch?

I can deal with the angle issue until I figure out a fix. I love the zone controls AND a volume knob instead of buttons. If this is the new head, glad I bought a '16.

I think it's actually the Infinity mbb3030 black box but not for sure. I'll know next week when my boat gets delivered.

Looks like the new unit is half the cost. May be part of their motivation.
