Can't say enough about the boat and love it more as I get it dialed in for my riding style.
80hrs so far. I've experimented a lot and found this setup dang good at 500ft elevation and a 2249 prop. If I'm in the mood I also add a 400lbs extra bow sack/2 buddies in the bow for wake boarding and surfing which only seems help firm and lengthen the wake.

Wakeboard

Setup #1
22.8 mph 70 ft rope
900 lbs hard tank
Sumo 750 bow + 300 bomb wake
Ronix 800 rear each side
NO Wedge

Setup#2
WEDGE DOWN
22.8 mph 70ft rope
300 bombwake in the bow
Turn on all 4 pumps on at same time and shut off all four when center tank starts overflowing
Which means rear is about 1000lbs total

Surf
10.8-11mph

900 hard tank
750 sumo
300 bomb wake in the bow
Ronix 800 rear each side full
Wedge Down

Feel free to critique if anyone thinks they can improve my setup. I'm always trying to get the best wake/wave without running stupid weight

Only thing I just found with my 16 A22 is that by listing it to the surf side (by dropping 1/3-1/2 of the non-surf) my wave is not nearly as steep and stretches it out a bit.

Why would you list at all? That's the whole point of surf gate, so you don't have to list your boat. Am I missing something here?

I tend to agree that the point of surfgate is so you don't have to but if I don't the wake is jacked up super steep and close to the boat. When fully loaded in the back (750's) they are riding several inches below the water and washing out the face a touch (center tank and bow bag full for ref). After reading on here that having them out of the water will improve the wave pretty dramatically and some guys were listing to the surf side to make that happen I gave it a go. Helped my cause a good bit. I suppose I could ride a less desirable wave on the principal that "I shouldn't have to do something" but I guess I take the approach of function over form in this case. Just trying to share what I learned with someone that has the exact same hull is all.
