Similar looking , however that one is in the bow. Mine is aft , left side in front of motor....Likely will have to ship this back to manufacturer.

Thanks,

Get with dealer and Malibu. They'll make it right. Malibu/Axis built a new hull for me and my dealer gave me a loaner while it was in TN. My original boat had the stringers detach from the entir bottom of the hull. It cracked up and sounded like a drum.
New boat was great.

It's scaring me a little bit that so many 2015 A22s are having this issue. I haven't seen any cracking in mine but there is definitely a rattle from somewhere in the engine bay area that wasn't there when I bought the boat. I'm just hoping to get through this season before having to take this thing in to get worked on.

And LakeKeowee, I've read your other threads with the crap you've dealt with from the start of owning this boat. You really can't catch a break...

Malibu says bring it to dealer for inspection, dealer says drop it off maybe we can look at it in a couple of weeks....
Boat industry is pretty arrogant if this is normal.

Your dealer is a real problem. Tommy's Florida handled mine so professionally. They inspected it on the spot with me and sent it to a local fiberglass expert who did inspection, took photos and did a report. Dealer coordinated with Malibu and the boat was sent on to Tennessee factory where they decided to build a new hull. I had a conference call with factory manager and my dealer that really set the tone for a positive result. It was about two/three weeks here coordinating the warranty claim, I was still using it on weekends. Tommy's sent it up and it was at factory for 2 months. I was given an LSV for whole time it was in Tennessee. Truly world class service.
Malibu team called me every week with an update and their QA guy did a great job getting her back to me better than new. In the end I was very happy, although, if you read my thread (Spider Cracks) from last year, I was freaking out about it during the process. I love my boat and hated that it happened.
Tommy's made all the difference. Obviously Tommy's is a well respected dealer and Malibu treated me well as a result of their support.
