Does anyone have this item on their boat? has a direct hose hookup for cleanout.

Was wondering if it will allow enough water to run the engine for winterizing and oil changes etc.

If that's the engine flush on transom
Then that's the point plus clean out

Yes. That is what it's made for.

Although, the Indmar strainer is fairly new to the market. Most have a Perko

My dealer put one on my A20 under warranty because there is no way for me to hook up a fakealake because of the raw water intake placement being so close to the trailer bunk.

I made the mistake of running a non-Axis boat with water running through the flush tube rather than the fake a lake or rabbit ears. It turns out it didn't go to the impeller, so I burned up the impeller. I'd be very cautious about doing that.
