We recently bought a BARE Comp vest new from a Ski shop. Set it on the seat, and overnight, the logo and writing had transferred to the seat. Brand new boat!! We have tried 303, Spray 9, Quick Orange, magic eraser, and no results. BARE claims it's not their problem. Anybody have any ideas how to get this removed? ImageImageImageImageImage

I have used a 303 fabric cleaner on other stains on my vinyl with great success, but it was on other grease and shoe marks. It works well but I have not used it on a similar stain

I had a similar stain on my seat from a rope. I used every cleaner you mentioned with not much luck. The sun works wonders and hopefully it will eventually bleach out, mine did.

Use it for the summer and see if it disappears. Don't use magic eraser on your vinyl. Ever!!! Unless it is just a small spot.

Same thing happened to me when I put my wakeboard cover on the bow cushion. I cleaned it with all types of cleaners but didn't work either. I took the cushion off the boat and laid it directly in the sun for 2 weeks and it eventually came out. In fact you can't even tell it ever happened. The sun does wonders!

If I have a stain that I cant get out, i'll resort to the magic eraser. It will likely get it out, but remember its a mild abrasive so you have to work carefully.

It is sketchy but magic erasers do work wonders. But keep in mind your basically removing the top layer of vinyl with stain in it as opposed to "lifting" it out with a cleaner.

I would not use magic eraser. Vinyl is not like paint or gel coat. There is a top coating that if its removed can make that spot prone to staining, fading cracking etc...

Just hit it with a soft bristle brush vinyl cleaner and conditioner every so often and a little sunshine. It will slowly fade away.

I had a big pink life vest logo transfer onto my vinyl. I accidentally covered my boat with the vest on the seat and it baked the logo on vinyl over the course of a hot summer week. I used the method above and it was gone in about a month.
