Hi guys I have to bring my 2015 axis a22 in for the 10 hour service.i have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee overland 6 cylinder.says it will tow 6200 pounds.axis says its a22 is 4000 pounds and my trailer title says it 1200 pounds.
Do you think my it will be ok?i have to tow it about 40 minutes to the dealership. This is my first big boat so I was looking for some input/advice. Thanks for all the help

Lot's of different opinions on this issue. I'm surprised there's a six cylinder that can tow that much, as most of them seem to max out at 5000lbs. Personally, I don't think you'll have any problems. I recently upgraded from a smaller boat, and it was basically the same thing. Pay attention, give yourself lots of time to slow down, and take the corners wide and easy.
I've always enjoyed towing a boat, something about being on the road pulling something you love and are proud to own.

Remember to burn off your gas and maybe take off heavy stuff out of boat. I tow an a24 with my 06 tundra with a 7200 tow cap. You definitely feel the boat behind you and pushing you when your trying to slow down. Keep it under 65. Wobbly at higher speeds and cross winds.

My KIA is rated for 5,000 pounds and tows the A22 with full fuel and all the stuff on board with no problems at all. I do not tow far, but if rated for it use it.

I had a jeep grand Cherokee with the hemi and pulled my boat a22 to and from the launch and in and out of storage a hour each way no problem. Now I got a truck but it was a load for the jeep but it worked for me
