Gibbs - Do you find you burn a considerably more gas when you use the wedge?
I run hard tanks full, pnp full (750s), and triangle on seat bow sack up to half full with no wedge.
At times I'd go for only filling the 750s half way and dropping the wedge. Seems like this gives a similar wake size with a tiny bit more peak? But, I burn through the fuel this way.

335 engine, A20, 2313 prop.

On my new A20 I filled the center and front ballast (bag under the seat) and dropped the wedge. There were a few people in the boat. Wake was clean with a nice peak. The wedge seemed to help get me higher into the air (as opposed to farther laterally). Boat drives like a dog with the wedge down and uses a ton of gas!

What is typical hours for a tank of gas? I'm getting the 2016 A24 with 65 gallon tank and 409 engine.

I fill mine up every two trips and average 5 hours on the motor a day. So 10 hours and never been close to running out of fuel boat usually holds around 50 to 55 gallons at fill up. 10 to 15 left over. 350 motor

We surf 95% of the time. That's the reason for the 1100's.
