I have a 2015 T23 with the new 350 motor and gearing. The boat was shipped with the wrong prop so we had some issues with the 1235 low end power. The dealer switched us out to the 2247 but we didn't get to test it much.
We were running stock ballast plus playing with plugnplay sacs for wakeboarding and it was much improved. We didn't use wedge during wakeboarding.
I'd like to try out full stock ballasts plus 650 in bow and play around with the 800s in rear and/or wedge combinations this summer. Plus we'd like to get surfing this summer.
Should I stick with the 2247 or try out the 2315? Just curious now that some folks have had some time with the new 350 motor gearing. Not really interested in top in speed as we just don't run over 25 mph.
Also curious how many of you use wedge when wakeboarding vs just heavily weighting ballasts? Wake shape?
thanks

I running the OJ 945 on my 16' T23 it's close to performance of the 2315. I run all ballast full with 650 in the bow and 1100's rear and wedge surfing we also put an extra 400 in the front walkway. No Issues. Wakeboarding we run everything full except the rear and there about 1/2 plus wedge. We are 95% surf. The boat has an amazing wave for both in very impressed with it so far. I've had a 2012 A22 and a 2014 Tige Z1 previously to compare it to. I also ran a 23Lsv a few times last summer. The T23 is is best I've ran so far.
