I have a 2011 Axis A20, and I'm looking to change the oil myself for the 1st time. Currently the boat is stored about 1.5hrs away from me, so access to it isn't easy. I'm wanting to make sure to have all the right tools, oil capacity and filter etc. on the first go, so I don't have to make an emergency stop to the local hardware store and purchase more tools I already own.
I've tried to searching around and I haven't found any tutorials on changing the V-drive oil specific to an Axis. Please direct me if you know of more specific than the generic tutorials.
I think I have the ZF Hurth Ski-Vee V-drive as it has two reservoirs that both say ATF on the cap plugs. I purchased the boat used and it didn't come with any user manuals, but I found a 2012 Operators manual that shows the following model/capacities. Can anyone confirm what model v-drives 2011 Axis A20 w/ AR335 Indmar engine that have 2 ATF oil fill cap plugs on it?
Any help is appreciated on what tools I need, and any way to get the oil out (without a pump if possible).

V-drive oil is just type 3 dexron transmission fluid if I'm not mistaken. My old boat was a 2010 335 A22.
Have something to suck the transmission fluids out with.

Yeah very simple. Suck the old fluid out and then pour the fresh stuff in. Work the tube around to get as much of the old out as possible. Don't forget to do both the front and rear locations. If you overfill just suck a little out. I believe you also read the plastic dip-stick by only setting it on the threads. You don't screw it all the way in to check.

Drain Transmission fluid from both spots. 1 ½ quarts in one closest to engine. 1 quart in one closest to driver. Check levels. One closest to the driver should be between the marks. The one closest to the engine should be a little high. When you crank the boat the trans fluid will be pulled up into the engine and then the levels will drop. Check level after you crank it. Should be between the lines.

Thanks for the help everyone! I have the ZF45IV. I changed it last weekend, but after running it for about 3 minutes, I turned the engine off and checked the levels. I noticed both were a little high over the top mark. I'm thinking I will have to pump a little out before we start riding again. I don't know where I went wrong. I pumped as much as possible out, and even pulled the filter out which drained more from the engine side reservoir.
