Have an opportunity to purchase loaded 2015 t23 from a friend for around 62 or a new T23 2016 with same options for 72k. I known2016 has upgraded dash, hydraulic surf gate and new stereo and slightly better warranty coverage. Just can't figure or what is probably the best deal.... Any ideas???

As far as I know, the differences you listed are pretty much it. Although, most would agree, the warranty change is quite significant.

I think the 2 big things to think about are...how long do you plan to keep it? A year or two? Get the cheaper one, longer and get the one with the longer warranty because you never know.

And 2....can you live with the 2016 dash?

I was in your shoes last week. Personally, I went with the 2016 due to the longer warranty.

Are you getting the color options and all the features you want in the 2015?

Better warranty. A few upgraded options for 2016. And getting to pick the boat colors and make it your own. I would lean towards the 2016.

Very true.. The 2015 was not exactly what I wanted, so therefore the 2016 and us getting to choose all of the options was worth it to us.

Early '15 the drain plugs were in a forward position so the rear bags drain slightly when full, mid '15 they fixed this by moving the drain placement (I believe that is correct I know they moved the drains one direction halfway thru and it fixed the issue). Also may not be relevant for you, the heater snorkel hoses are set up differently. '15 they come out of dash. '16 they come out in the walk thru I think the set-up for them is better in the '16.
Not convinced the heater hose placement warrants 10K.
The new warranty based on the prior owners use seems like the biggest deal.

Baxter what did you decide to do?

you can always go back and work with the dealer to see what he can do.

Admin,
I decided to go with the new T23 2016, I find it hard to not take the new boat with the longer warranty. Feel like the dealer gave me a great deal on the new boat and threw in fair amount of extras to sweeten the deal even more.
