Ok, I have poured over the forums and have seen answers all over the place.

What bag fits best in the rear of an A22? I have read everything from a 400 to a 1100.

Wakemakers recommends a 600 or their own model which is a 720(50x20x20).

I would like the ballast to fit in there as well as possible and would prefer not to have to worry about over filling.

Answer, thoughts and pictures appreciated!

I ran sumo 900's in my A22 and I run them in my A24 as well. I like the bigger ports.

I just looked... The 600 sumo may fit a touch better but sometimes I used to take the non surf side 900 out and fill it with a manual pump and put it on the surf side seat

I had high fly 750's in mine no problems. I run 1100's in my current T23 they fill the compartment full.

I have sumo 900 on each side they work well for Surfing. Also recommend the supports for the divider panels.

Ours has Sumo 1000's. No idea how it turned out or how it works as I haven't seen it yet.

Sumo 1000's? When did Sumo make a 1000 bag? Biggest I've seen from them is 900's. Are you sure?

Not sure, but supposedly...
My partner had everything installed at gosurfassist.
Here's a video with info about ballast below it:

Sumo doesn't make a 1000 to my knowledge, 900's are the biggest, and not even on Straightline's (maker of Sumo) website.

The 750's are probably the "best fitting" bag but my Sumo 900's fit in my A24 with no issues and no added divider wall reinforcement. If you do 750's go with Sumo because they hold more than 750, the Flyhigh bags hold less than 750 (they differ by about 100lbs so that's almost 200lbs extra you get from Sumo). Out of all the Flyhigh bags tested with actual water and scale only 1 held the actual weight, the rest were less. All the Sumo bags tested held more weight than listed. Plus, I still like the bigger fittings in the Sumo vs Flyhigh. Some will say it doesn't matter on the fittings but I'll take the bigger fitting to match with the bigger ballast lines. If you want the 900's they will fit in an A22 as well.
