Going to be picking up a new A20 OR A22 here in a month or two but most importantly i need to know what if any the extra two feet makes on the wake for boarding and surfing?

the wave being most important, is in longer and higher with the A22? with both leangths having the same balast weight etc... of course what can i expect to see in differances.

I've seen multiple different 20s and 22s and I can tell you there is a huge difference in the surf wave... It's much longer and that is due to the length of the boat displacing more water... I'd tell you right now spend a bit more for the 22... But, the 20 produces a great wave as well... It's more about what the price difference is and if your willing to take the price plunge

A22 hands down the better wave. In the past, before the hull changes in the A22 in 2015 and A20 in 2016, they had the same running surface. The A20 being the smaller boat had a wider wakeboard wake than the A22. Both have great shape though. The cabin room between the A22 vs A20 is night and day. I've never seen anyone in 4yrs on this forum say the wished they'd bought a smaller Axis.

If you are looking for surf wave I would look at the T22 or T23. My t23 wave is great.

I second what AJ said, A22 all the way. I had a '13 A20 and loved that boat, but the new A22 design is a huge improvement. The deeper hull was obvious the second I stepped in it. I don't think you would be upset with a new A20 since it was redesigned for '16, but if you are already considering an A22 then I think you have your answer.

I'll have a 2016 A20 in a few weeks, I'll let you know how it is.

A22 for sure. The interior is so much more spacious and the increases storage is a added bonus.
