Looking for some help.

I have a 2009 A22, I just put the boat in for the season, and she was bone dry when she went in. I started it on the trailer (in the water) and was checking for leaks when I found one (actually 2). Both left and right manifolds were dripping water (only when the engine was running) right where the manifold exits to a plastic T which then turns into 2 hoses. One of these hoses is the garden hose that runs under the engine, the one that I always disconnect for the winter. Sorry for the rude explanation, but my marine engine terminology is somewhat lacking.

My thought is that because they both went over the winter (or so I think) that maybe the plastic T has degraded, or if there is something (Teflon tape) on the T that might have degraded.

It's not a tonne of water but I'd feel better if it was dry.

Thanks in advance.

Chris

if it started where you disconnected to winterize start there, remove the hoses again and check for splits and cracks if the hoses look good check the T or just go ahead and replace it as it is a 7 year old piece of plastic that will degrade eventually try to find a brass T at a hardware store. are you sure the clamps are tight enough? or did you possibly over tighten them and cause the T to crack?
