Can anyone tell me what RCA input on the back of the Sony Head Unit the WS420 connects to?

I would connect them to the front. It really doesn't matter though.

Make sure all the settings on your Sony head unit is set to zero. This includes the balance, bass, and treble. The 420 will be used to add the appropriate bass, treble, and zone control.
