I'm gonna be installing the bow ballast sac in my 2016 T23 this weekend is the process still the same as the older models or is anything different. Looks like 3 lines in a y connector fill line with a check valve a vent and drain line. Looks simple but I have a way of making things more difficult than they should be. It is the Sumo Sac for the T23 I think 650lbs. I have been running two 350's up there on the seats for a few weeks with rear 1100's and the wave is sweet. Any input on the install would be great. Thanks

Yeah, pretty simple. You've got the lines right, remove the 'Y' and you've got fill/drain/vent. You'll probably need 90* fittings and may need to trim the lines down to get it to sit right, I know I did.

BTW, I'd probably keep at least one of the 350's to use in addition to the bow bag on top of the seats or under the observers seat. I have 900's in the rear and the 650 bow sack and I need another 2-400lbs up front to really lengthen the wave and bring the bow down some.

Looks good! Those plug locations look weird but maybe the bow on the T23 is different than the T22. Good call on the elbows. I didn't know to order enough inititally so had to wait another week for the connectors after getting the back, it sucked!

I have two 90's and two straight. I was told use the 90's on top for fill/vent and a straight for the drain. Almost think I should have 3 90's

You have to fill it all the way in order to get the drain to prime BTW... I have to fill mine until water actually starts coming out of the drain thru hull.

Or you can hit the drain that is not primed and just accelerate for literally a second or two and cut the throttle to force water from the bow sack down the drain line into the pump and then you'll be good all day. This works even on half full sacks or even less. No big deal. However, if drain lines are so long that they have a big loop, then that loop needs to be eliminated by shortening the line

That is the same fly high sack I have in my T22 and you will definitely want a 90 on the drain. You could probably get away with a straight connector on the vent if your hose is long enough.

Got it done. I put 90's on the Drain/Fill. Had to shorten the drain hose about 10" but it all looks good. The dealership said the bag would hold 750lbs it looks like it should fill up almost all the way but I can't find a exact weight for it anywhere. Is it 750 or 650?

The problem is the drain line actually gains elevation before it penetrates the floor. You can really shorten the lines any more.

Not the best design...
