Took the boat out today and discovered my wedge was missing one side spring and pin. Fnally released it and when we were finished for the day, the other side had fallen out. I need to rig a tie down strap through the access hole to hold it up. Question to you all is have any of you had this happen where all the retaining hardware has fallen out of your wedge cross member? I'm going to call the dealer in the morning and see what this is going to cost me.

Hasn't happened to me personally but I've read ALOT of threads where people have had the exact same thing happen, I think they ended up using loctite on the pin threads to keep everything snug

Yes that happened on my 2011. Its gonna cost you about $30 in parts. Bakes has all the parts. When I put them back in. I used red loctite. And everything has been good since.

It happened to mine and the dealer covered it under warranty. I used loctite and haven't had any issues since.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm waiting for the dealers call to see if he will warranty, but if not 30 dollars isn't going to break me. I definitely had locktite in the repair plan.

no issues with wedge pins but my platform pins have fallen out. Replaced them with SS bolts and nuts.

Pics? Any idea if this quiets the platform movement/rattle? Can you still shake the platform with it this way?

Boat is living the lonely life at the dealer waiting for service. 1st thing I noticed was how much more secure and stable the platform is. No more rattling!!! Take one of your pins out, measure length, and head to the hardware store. Get nyloc nuts.

I hear ya, mines been at the dealer 3 weeks and I'm headed down to go pick her up tomorrow. Sad to say I'm excited just to get it back in the garage, it's been so empty, lol.

Good deal, I'll add this to my winter mod list. Anything I can do to improve on I'm down.
