2015 T22 BALLAST BAG QUESTION

For the T22, How big can you go inside bow area? Any larger then what came with my PNP option? It looks like not much larger would fit as when I fill too much it pops all the cushions up. Also rears, how big you go? We ONLY surf behind boat. Rep told me I have 550's in rear now, he said I could go 750's in there for surfing. Is this the case? Any reason to go larger? Will it fit in T22?

Discussed many times here and at Malibu Crew forums, so be sure to look around.

I have a T23 and you can put a 650 up front (but it bulges up) and 900s have plenty of room in the rear. As I recall, the 1100s don't completely fill. So I'd say you can definitely do 750s and probably 900s.

Not sure what came with your PNP option.

If you do put 900s in the back, you're probably going to need another bag or some lead up front (or fat friends) above and beyond what fits under the seat.

I wasn't sure if bow area was different sized for different models. I looked for info specific to T22.
On-Line I saw Fly-Hi sac for bow that looked like an arrow and I don't think that will fit in mine, that is why I asked.

I believe the bow bag is a 650.

I use the Sumo 650 triangle bag on my 14' T22... My biggest complaint is the lack of room under the bow. I doubt the 650 bag even fills half way. Im constantly having to throw people in the bow or putting a bag on the seat.

If we get into a '16 T22, we will have the bow bag and about 400lbs of lead or steel shot hidden in the bow
