Ok, now a couple questions. Boat is going back to dealer for a vinyl mix up from factory for warranty replacement.

Wedge light sporadically comes on saying its down when it is definitely up. Anyone have this issue?

Has anyone thought of raising the height of the driver seat? Seems like I could use about 3" of height to see a little better.

The boat has 29hrs and going in for first service but I noticed oil was low and it needed 1.5qts yesterday.

Also the Plug N Play ballast setup that comes with the boat, are they the largest you can get in the three compartments? back sides and bow?

Thanks,
LOVING THE NEW BOAT!!!!
Jason

Great looking boat. Where are you riding that has dolphins swimming with you?

Congrats on the boat, we love our T22 as well.

Never had the wedge issue, but I feel like I've read somewhere about an issue like that, maybe check TMC?

Quite a few people have added a riser to the drivers seat, again there are threads for sure on TMC but definitely something I've thought about as well.

We've got about 50hrs on our boat and I had the oil changed around 10-12 hours based on the manual/dealer recommendations. No issues prior and oil is still at good level now. Will change it again at 60 hours. How did you know it was low? Light on the dash? Had you been checking it prior or ever before?

As for the PNP bags...the boat doesn't come from the factory with any, so if your boat has some they were thrown in by the dealer. What size bags are they? I personally have 900's in the rear and a 650 in the bow, they all can fill full.

Great pictures, jelly of the dolphin shot.

My wedge light constantly blinks while underway on light choppy conditions or at certain speeds. It's very annoying I hope someone can give some good insight on how to correct the issue. I have the 750 rear Pnp and 650 front and I feel it's more than enough to shape the wave/wake to your preference. Congrats on the boat! I'm up to about 80hours and absolutely love it! I believe the wedge light is controlled by a pressure switch. It sounds like the switch is either faulty or more likely when the wedge is stowed it's just loose enough that the switch is opening and closing. Either way it's a warranty issue and you should make your dealer aware of it.

Ps. Where there are Dolphins, there are sharks :?

I think you got it mixed around, where there are Dolphins, there are no sharks, where there are seals, you better get out of the water haha

For me, when I have trouble seeing over the bow its because I don't have enough weight forward (assuming you have a drivers seat flip up bolster). For a good surf wave this boat likes lots of weight forward. I have 750's in the rear and had to fiddle with the plumbing on my bow sac to get it to fill completely (or almost completely). With all factory and PNP bags full/wedge down it helps to have 20% of the passengers in the bow.

I agree with 3oh2rider, 750 in the rears and the 650 bow bag makes for good weight distribution and is enough for a very good wave-especially if you regularly ride with a large crew. You could go 1100's in the rear but the boat would need a lot more bow weight to balance that out.

The wedge light is controlled with a pressure switch and I imagine salt water would be hard on that.
