Alright, was on the lake this past weekend and hit a 2x4 which was out in open water.
Probably from someones dock as it was also full of nails.
No damage to prop but a little gash underneath the boat.
Not a good pic but just wondering if this will be ok...?
Don't think that it will crack and spread and also not sure that patching it would help prevent that anyway.
Thoughts, ideas, and suggestions.....
Thx

I popped a blister under my gelcoat 4 years ago when I beached the boat, local shop fixed it for 300$

If its to the fiberglass, looks like it is, I would seal it with something.

That sucks but at least its the bottom. If theres no free strands of glass exposed your fine. As to sealing it not sure theres much point. Take a look at the hole your prop shaft passes through. Its all bare fibreglass. Well mine is anyways.
