Blue tooth

I just purchased a new A22 and when my IPhone is connected to the Bluetooth I can not use the remote control to skip to a new song. The only thing that works is the volume up and down. I can move to a new song using the phone but unable to use the radio remote or rear control to change songs any help would be appreciated.

Some ideas:

Test your iPhone with another bluetooth speaker to make sure the controls on the bluetooth speaker control your iPhone and there is no problem with your phone

Also, make sure another phone is not trying to connect to the Sony bluetooth system while you are connected. Have other phones on the boat turn off bluetooth service so there could no interference.

It is not his phone. I just received my 2015 A24 with SP2 and I can confirm mine does the exact same thing. Everything works if attached to USB but off BT you lose most controls.

Seems to be normal system bahaviour. The Bluetooth module is connected via cinch only and that doesn't give you remote control capability. You can control the volume, but only because it controls the head unit volume and not the phone volume.

I have the same problem unless I plug my phone in directly to the USB.

Am watching the ball game and reading this forum...I have Android ..same issue. I can only control songs from device. Am basically thrilled tho since last weekend was 3rd time out and could not work stereo. Had a boat load of kids and they could not figure it out either

My S5 won't work with the head unit via blue tooth, but my wifes LG G2 works just fine. I'm tired of this sorry ass Sony head unit.
