That is what the rep told me this weekend. It makes sense because the boat comes up out of the water so flat. So I was wondering if anyone has put them on an A22. I've got the plug-n-play with 750s in the back and the 900 in the front. I would love to add more weight but there is no way I could get on plane and was thinking this might be a great way to do it, plus save money on gas. Any thoughts?

I would think has more to do with engine size and prop. Most G's have a large engine.

No trim tabs needed for the G23 or even G25. There's no option for trim tabs. It has the NCRS and then their new surf system.

So isn't the NCRS a computer controlled Trim Tab on the bottom of the boat? I couldn't find any picts of it. The boat I was behind this weekend had the small engine, 6 people, and extra ballast in it and it still popped right up on plane. I realize they have the new gear ratio, but I wonder much difference the Hydro Plate/NCRS/Trim tab makes. And if it is making a big difference if one could be fabricated for an Axis.

Go for it, I just don't think it's necessary but I like seeing someone doing something new. The NCRS is not a true trim tab system like a Bennette system strictly used for getting on plane. The NCRS does have wake shaping abity and does adjust the G's ride attitude some for water conditions and I could see it maybe assisting just a little possibly but it's not a true planing system per se.

The "small engine" is a PCM 450 (no slouch). They also have much larger prop clearances to run 16" props.

I am sure you can make anything for any boat but not sure the benefits will pay off. might want to check but drilling into the hull might void any kind of hull warranty.

Save your stern and go with a more aggressive prop. Cheaper and will make a bigger difference. What engine/prop are you running now?
