Went to the boat show on Friday. My wife was wanting to just check out the new boats. I was kind of hesitant to go considering I bought a 2014 A22, I thought it would just make me want to upgrade. Now that I've seen the 15 I'm totally happy with my 14. First thing the wife noticed was the cabin space, it lost a foot of length easily. There was an A20 sitting right next to it and the length of the cabin was pretty close to being the same. The bow seemed to be about 4" longer. So what happened to the other 8"????? Overall it was a nice boat but we wouldn't have bought a 15 just based on the smaller cabin space. Anybody else notice this? I Liked the new vinyl patterns except in the bow, the seat backs kind of look like a triple fat roll. T23 was nice, couldn't figure out why the foot heater for the driver was a tube just hanging down from the dash. It looked like something my 4 year old would rig up. The new purple flake is SICK!!! Loved it!!

I disagree with you. I have been in a '15 and a '14 side by side. Not much room is lost in the '15. I felt like the rear lockers wear a little bigger on the '15 so that might be what you are noticing.

Someone just get a tape measure out and measure the sunpad LxW, cabin LxW, and then bow LxW and compare the two 2015 is 102" beam correct?

Looking at the above angle brochure pics it does look smaller in the cabin. An easy reference point is the side cushion behind the driver, it definitely looks shorter in length compared to my previous A22

Funny you mention that spot, that's exactly where we noticed it. It was easily a 2 person bench on the 14. Not so on the 15. I know the 15 is 2 inches wider, but I just noticed the large difference in the length of that cushion.

That looks like A20-ish size cabin in the 2015 A22. I'd walk away just on that. T22, T23 or A24 after looking at that A22 cabin size. Appears the bow and the amount of hull in front of the bow is larger

They moved the rear hatches forward to make bigger transom seats. I noticed the smaller cabin also. One thing I wish the older a22 had was the huge storage under the cabin seats, you can almost fit a 600 bag under those things in the new boats. I also like how the observer seat back and seat cushion pull out to access a huge storage opening.

I'll measure the cabin next time I'm around my boat. I'd be surprised if it's more than a few inches shorter. I believe there is more room between the driver seat and the starboard bench. I do know the overall boat is substantially larger than my previous a22. My last boat cleared my garage by 6 inches, this boat clears it by a quarter of an inch... Same trailer.

elc... is that difference with the tower folded? Are you talking about clearing your header? What's your current header height?
