I have searched the malibu forums for a good write up on winterization. Can one of you guys that are a member over there help me out.
I dont know if my other post was read but do any of you recommend shrink wrapping the boat for the winter?
Also I need to goo info on how to winterize ballast tanks in our boats.

I just finished up winterizing my A22 last weekend. I can't advise you on Shrink wrapping your boat as mine is stored in a barn but sounds like it wouldn't hurt to do. For the ballast I just made sure the hard tanks and lines are empty and also removed all of the plug and play bags from the boat.

For the shrink: does for boat will be inside if so what will be the temp?, or outside protected? For the ballast: you need to put antifreeze in the ballast and run the pumps tp make sure there antifreeze in the system. The easiest way to add antifreeze I found is to put it directly in the lines at the back of the boat in the engine compartment.
