So I ran till the gas gauge read completely empty, no bar showing any fuel. I was getting real nervous but made it back on the trailer, filled it up yesterday all the way and it only took 63 gallons, so I still had 15 in reserve? Nice to know but also a little annoying. Anyone else notice that?

I personally never trust a boat's fuel gauge. Just as long as I have plenty of bars showing I'm cool with that. I rarely let my fuel go below half tank anyways since it's right at 80 gal tank...that's quite a bit of ballast in just fuel. Another thing, in my opinion, is that I've never had a boat read the same fuel readings at idle, on the trailer, or while cruising. Just as long as they are similar and not reading 1/4 tank at idle then get on plane and it shows 1/2 tank.
