Confirmed, I was out Sunday AM and experienced the same. I have a 2001 Mastercraft Prostar 190 ... while is is not as good, it's better than my neighbor's 2002 Mastercraft 205 ... Very skiable indeed. The wake if you are any good at skiing ... continue to pull through and it's a minor bump. We ski at 15 off, 32 mph. I tried 34 mph and it was just a little better. Time to sell my MC!!

One additional note ... our top end with the 350HP, torque prop (2315??) is around 44 to 45 mph ... haven't barefooted bedind it yet, but the T22 maintained that speed with 6 adults and 4 kids! VERY happy about that.

Either your speedo is not calibrated or your rev limiter is busted because no boat with a 5200 rpm redline, 1:1.5 tranny and a 2315 will do 45.

Shawndoggy is correct. No way your getting above 39-40 with that motor and prop combo. You may want to check your speed by GPS and calibrate accordingly. I know this for a fact as my buddy has the same boat and his was off quite a bit.

Will check it this evening, odd it was spot on for surfing and wakeboard speeds; but didn't check @ top end. Sounds legit it may be off.

Not off by far! 2 to 3 mph .... 43mph top end per gps. Speedo read 45 to 46.

out 2013 A20 is awesome to ski behind too (high altitude prop, tops out around 43 on gps, barefoot is tough just outside the wake because of the displacement makes a decent sized hole). Haven't gotten the pics of crossing the wake (compared to tournament boat) off the camera yet but here are some slalom shots from earlier this year. 34mph, 15' off.

And seriously, pull from the pillon, the ride is so much better.
