My front ballast bag will fill on its own and starts over flowing out the vent. Then the water sprays up all over the board racks and into the boat. Is my fill pump going out? I was thinking of adding a ball valve to the fill line, but I would rather fix it, than put a bandaid on it. It's only while under way, so water is being forced through the pump and into the bag.

Take one of your extra loop vents in the back (if you have an extra one) and install it as high and as far back as you can inside your storage area opposite the driver. You will also need some more ballast hose line in order to make it reach that far.

Yep, you need a vented loop anti-siphon. I thought they put these on at the factory.

On my boat, this device is installed behind the driver's helm kick panel. So it goes from the fill pump under the floor, up into the helm area, attached to the vented loop as high as possible, then back down and into the ballast bag.

Markos250, give wakemakers a call and they'll set you up right.

I ended up just installing a ball valve on the fill line. I think I have a hybrid setup because I have a 12' and the inner hose diameter is 1-/8". I got some 1" fittings to work, but I really had to crank on those hose clamps to get it tight.

I have the factory ball valve, but it's harder to get to than the center drain plug. The anti siphone loop is burrows behind the sub box I just made, so I really didn't want to pull that out again.

Wakemakers.com has everything you need. If you call them and explain the situation they will tell you everything you need.
