I have a new T22 with surf gate, and I am trying to find the right mixture of ballast and speed.
I have PNP 750's in the back and also whatever the bow one is. I also have a 1100lbs sac that I
can put anywhere. When I have a boat full of people, it never seems to be an issue. I also just put
a 2315 prop on that made a huge difference with torque. Before I could only get up to 12mph.

What is your guys suggestions when only boating with a few people?

I seem to be running about 10.5 mph, but the wave doesn't seem very long compared to some
of the stuff I see online.

The longer the wave you want, the faster you'll have to go, and the more weight you'll need in the rear. Go with Sumo 900's in the rear, wedge down, list the boat slightly, bump your speed up to 11mph (calibrated by GPS) and go from there. You're on the right track with the extra floor sack when it's just a few of you.

I'm in the same situation minus the 1100 anywhere sack.

I'm thinking more bow weight would make ours longer. I need to get some lead or another sack.

Interested in hearing what others have to say

Some extra bow weight can help as well but there's a point to where you'll kill the wave height and shape

So you are saying put the 1100 on the floor in the back?

You're going to have to just try different things with that 1100. You can try it length wise in the middle of the floor, slide it to the back, move it slightly forward and don't forget to try it sideways in the cabin against the rear seat. Are your 750's Sumos or Fly-Hi?

Fly-Hi, I have never heard of the Sumo's.

Btw, I have 400's if anyone is interested. I will give you a great deal.

The Sumo 900's are the way yo go IMO. They hold a true 900lbs and more. The Fly-Hi 750's don't even hold 750lbs, it's less.

If you get sumo's make sure they are newer ones with the fitting issue fixed. If they are the older ones i cant testify to how much they hold but I can guarantee they will empty in record time :-).

The 900's didn't have the issue. They were made with the new fittings from day one. The other sizes is still hit and miss with old stock with bad fittings and the new version. The new fittings say "Sumo" on the caps.
