I have a new T22

350 horse
Cinco Prop
Hard tanks full
400 plug and play in the rear
The 650lb or whatever the weight is for the new T series front bag

We have the boat evenly weighted with 4 adults and 4 kids. The thing we have noticed is that the surf wake on the starboard side is way better than the port side. No matter how I change speeds or move people around (I tried moving everybody to the port side) I can't get the wave to clean up like the starboard. I am a total rookie on this so I am hoping for some input from the VERY knowledgeable and awesome members of this forum. My guess is that it has to do with prop rotation. Thanks!

You are correct. Prop rotation. You can put more peo o let on port side to help but that's all I can suggest.

Thanks Texas! I knew it! Man that's kind of a bummer. That starboard wave is amazing! I'll play around with people again tomorrow. What about dumping the starboard side bag/hard tank?

Just learn to surf goofy footed. Just like wakeboarding it's best to be able to ride switch and heel side.

When you drain the starboard bag, I found that it makes the wave flatter close to the boat. So essentially the sweet spot in the wave is further away from the boat. I don't even know if that makes any sense because I am new to this whole surfing thing as well. In the end I like the original wave better with the ballast evenly weighted. However your wave is probably totally different because I have an a20 so draining the starboard ballast may make your wave better. You are just gonna have to play around with it and see what works best.

We typically surf our T on the starboard side but I think your best be would be to add a little more weight to the port side. Slight listing does improve the wake noticeably.
Also not sure what speed your running but for us we like 10.8 (but do have more weight).
