I just purchased my AXIS T22 last week. First two weekends I have racked up about 35 hours, love it!

A couple of questions. The first weekend I just had the 400's in the back for the PnP, well this past weekend I went up to the 750's and quite a few more people. We couldn't get the boat over 12mph, but that wave was MONSTEROUS! Will the different prop change that? A guy that surf's all the time has been test driving every wakeboat known to man, and he said this is by far the best surf wave they have ever been on.

Next question, the first weekend we were having trouble with the cruise. You have to set it like 3mph lower to get it to get the actual speed where you want it...what would cause this? Then during wakeboarding, it would pull about 4mph faster, drop way back, pull hard again and then settle in where you wanted it. Any tips?

Yes a prop will fix the first problem. Is your speedo correct? I have seen other posting up issues with '14 speedos/cruise so you may be experiencing these reported issues.

What prop are you using now?

Your just in luck. I called Malibu/Axis tech support today to ask them about the speed control. You will need your tachometer replaced. This is a known manufacturer defect so your dealership will replace it for free. I am taking mine in either today or tomorrow to have mine replaced.

Dezul, does the defect only affect the '14s or previous years as well?

Only on the '14s that I know of. The tachometer displays changed between the '13 and the '14s.

There was an issue through early 2011, as well. I had issues with mine all last year, turned out to be the ignition switch.

I have read of one persons issue on the 2011s but I haven't heard of the 2012 or 2013s having any issues.

Awesome, I ordered the 2315 yesterday from Boardstop.
I have to take the boat in for a service next week, so I will be sure to have them check on
the tach issue. Here are a couple photos.

Looks great- You're gonna like the 2315. Post up some pics of the wakeboard wake (loaded down) when you get a chance. Several of us are curious to see how it compares to the A22.
