Has anyone ordered a tatami mat after they got their boat? My snaps do not line up in a couple of places. The mat came with snaps. The driver section is cut short because in the 2012 there would be a sub there. If you got the mat did yours line up exactly?

I think my mat I got is for the 2012. I have a 2011 a22

Also who can I order axis parts from that are friendly and will get back to me? I want to know prices of ski pylon, new sub enclosure, and I was going to say cup holders but I found those.

check with our dealer and doug. Also Owen (owner) should know them well. cause i was just up there the other day when i dropped my ride off and asked doug about the 2012's and said they could do the install, etc for the subs enclosure but just have to be careful since the 2011's have the heaters in that area. and i know the ski pylon he def has a price for that. was going to order one but then decided not to. tower works good enough for everything ive seen so far. except for the skiing aspect.

So I have my tatami mat and I have the new sub enclosure. I have to install the enclosure still. However my mat is from a 2012 and is brand new. My ride is a 2011. That mat already has snaps on it like the carpet. It came with new pieces to drill into the boat. My mat does not line up at all and I do not want to drill into the boat.

My question is have any of you guys ever have to pull the snaps from the mat or carpet and reposition them? How bad will this look or is it barely noticeable?

If I am not mistaken, snaps are riveted in place. You will likely not be able to see the relatively small hole if you remove the old snaps and reposition them to match your boat. Kind of like those anti-theft things they put on clothes.

Sounds about right... Ill pull one out and see what it looks like. I need to find a snap gun, or whatever they call them.

It should be a couple of replacement pieces and a snap tool like this:
http://www.greatlakesboattop.com/installation
you can't reuse the ones you take out of the carpet. You can find a canvas snap repair kit from academy, but the rivets are crap. Get some quality ones from the above link. They run about 25 cents a piece.
