This is my new ride only had it on the water for about 2 hours so far. My initial thoughts are this thing has to be going really fast to plane off.

No ballast wedge up felt like it never planed towing my wife at about 19mph.

Also can't feel which way this boat backs up. I came from a 2001 23lsv malibu and it backed to the right. I would approach the dock at about a 30 degree angle and reverse to get the back end around. The t22 doesn't swing like the 23 lsv did. Any advice? Owners manual shows turning wheel al the way to left and in reverse boat will go left??

Overall I love the boat so far. It's amazing driving a surf boat that tracks straight and actually turns around good

Have you calibrated the speedo? My A22 planes at 15mph. Throw some weight in it and see where it planes at. Congrats on the boat.

x2. My speedo was just over 2 mph off. Not sure why they do not calibrate it for you during the water test at the factory, but they don't.

I can get my A22 to back to the left if the water is completely calm, but for the most part, my boat spins counter clockwise very easily and backs to the right, as yours should too.

I noticed with my T22 when backing up, you have to give a little more of a throttle bump to get the bow to spin. My bow goes left when I do that.
