We just brought home a new to us a22 with LS3. Anyway, it has a fresh water flush. I hooked up the garden hose and it blew off a coolant hose off the raw water impeller pump. Anyway, I hooked everything back up and started the engine and noticed the impeller pump is leaking from what looks like to be the cover plate. I tightened the hoses to the pump already.
Is there a seal between the pump housing and the cover plate for the impeller? It drips water quite a bit.

There is a thin foam gasket, probably have to buy an impeller kit to get it though, they're not much and since you just bought it used may be a good idea to change it anyway
