Finally got to spend a good weekend on our a22. Tried some surfing and boarding water was cold but we had a blast.

We were a little confused with the center ballast tank. It seemed to never fill and spit out the side. There are three holes on starboard side that I assumed were front pnp bow bag, center tank and vent?

If I ran bow bag and center pumps it would eventually spill out all three holes. If I turned off all pumps and turned only center pump on nothing would spill out at all. The tank was filling but not it sure if it was full waited quit a while but it never spit water out the side when only center pump was on.

Center pump was on long enough for rear tanks and 750 sacs to fill plus a few extra minutes. So assumed it should have been full.

Any ideas what is going on?

2012 Axis A22 full ballast plus pnp rear 750's and arrow bow bag.

Check the actual pump itself. Should be a shut off lever beside pump. The center tank pump should be under flooring. Pull up carpet and get to it through the circle access panel. Found one of mine was switched the wrong way after getting it to the lake. Did anything drain when you turned it to drain from the center.

Yes it did drain. I shut the valve and opened the pump when we were out and it would spin and opened the valve slightly and water came in so everything seems fine. Im not sure what is going on?

The vent lines between center and front are shared, there is a Y fitting that connects them. The overflow from the center was probably going into your front bag instead. I added a separate thru hull and replumbed to avoid ths

I have the same problem. I took my boat to the dealer to work on it and they said the boat only has the 2 rear tanks. The sales guy told me that there was three tanks when I first bought it and now he is saying there is only 2. I am now fighting with them on false infermation that the need to put a tank or a bag in. Dose anyone know if they come with 2 or 3 thanks

^There are three hard tanks total: 2 rear and 1 center. Plug and Play adds 2 additional bags in the rear on top of the tanks, and 1 additional bag under the bow cushions.

Jayman is correct. The three hard tanks are standard and every axis has them unless a previous owner ripped them out for some reason.

Thanks jayman and ferral. Its a 2014 so im sure it has all 3 tanks like I thought it did. I just dont think the dealer ship knowd much about the boat. Im guessing im haveling the same problem as vanamp. They didn't know how to set the curse control or even the depth alert. I'm about done with them.

Wow, that's pretty sad, those are some pretty basic things that a dealer should definitely know. Luckily you fond this forum to get questions answered.
