Take a lot of time and look over the boat carefully. Check fit and finish of interior, check gel, check swim platform, interior panels. These are all places people have recently found issues. Open every compartment, try the skybox seating. Look over your trailer. Make sure the wheels aren't rusted, the paint is good. Check your bildge door. Mine won't latch. Go slow, don't let them rush you.

Are you able to do a lake test? My speedo was bad and we found this at the lake test. Check all ballast fills, blower, bildge pump, heater ect...

I wish I could have taken more time, but I was rushed because of the speedo issue. I have found several things wrong since having it at home and am documenting everything with pictures and notes.

Don't tow the boat home with the shipping cover on. If you tow home with the cover off, take the carpet out of the boat. Make sure you have the correct ball/drop and wiring.

Is anyone aware as to whether the new boats coming out of the factory in May will have the issues with the fuel line and gauges, as well as the front cushion "fix" already done, or is that going to be up to the dealer to take care of when the boat arrives?

This is helpful, I'm taking a checklist of things to pay extra close attention to. Thanks guys

Call the dealer and ask about the front cushion fix. When I mentioned it to my service guy he had no idea what I was talking about, and they just replaced my cushion skins. He said he had seen the deck trac on the new boats but he didn't know why they had started putting it there. Good advice about proper hitch height and wiring.
