Planning to add a WS420 to my A24, it looks like I have to run the RCA's all the way up around the bow... Any tricks or tips on easily running the wires?

If you have a radio currently installed then the task should be simple. Run the one short RCA cable from the radio to the WS420 input and then use the existing RCA cables and hook them into the output of the WS420.

If you don't have a radio with SP2, then you will run cables under the helm, around the bow, and through the passenger cargo storage to the amps. It is pretty simple also.

I have sound pack 3, I am pretty sure there is only 1 pair of RCA's coming out of the radio.... Even if there are two I still need a third so i can control the sub, in-boat and towers separately.

How many amps do you have? should be a rca's running to each of them. Dezul is right if you have a head unit. Still have to run power/ground to the same power/ground your amps run off of.

I have sound pack 3 and didn't have to run any rca cables. Just used the ones already there. Just had to add one short 6" cable like mentioned above.

Had a shop in town do it. I can run up there in a bit and take some pics and diagram it out.

OK.... Next time I decide to get under the front I will have to do one of 3 things. Either remove the seat, lose 20 lbs, or learn Yoga. With that being said, I hope these help.

I am running the SP3. Keep in mind that mine was not hooked up correctly from factory and my dealer fixed it all for me. I am also running my power through an Aux switch so the radio doesn't turn off when I stop the boat and have to turn the key back.

First pic shows SP3 amps with RCA cables.

Second pic is of the WS420SQ and the RCA's from the amps plugging into the EQ. Also have one more set of RCA going to back of radio. Pics 2 and 3.

Will do power wiring in next post.

This is the power wiring.

From EQ you will have a Red, Blue, and Black.

From my radio I have a group of wires running into a white plastic connector as seen in pic.

The Black from EQ is spliced into the Black from Clip.
The Red from EQ is spliced into the White with a Blue Stripe from Clip.
The Blue from EQ is spliced into the Blue from Clip.

Hope this helps.
