Axis Wakeboard Boat Forum

Okay so I'm a new owner also here. I have to ask this question. I did so much research before purchase, and when I got boat loved it. Everywhere I stop for fuel or put in I'm asked, what is an axis? Who makes it? That boat rocks it is so nice. Nothing but compliments. It is so cool, I have only seen one other on my lake so far.

Anyone else get this?

Haha I usually get the same thing at the gas pump but its usually followed by, man I bet that thing is fast!!! I just giggle

Hahah yes, everyone always thinks they should be fast. Most people call it a "speedboat"

New Owner here too and I get the same type questions and compliments too. I have even had several people from the neighborhood stop and ask about it as they walk by my house in the evenings. I will admit that even I am happier than I thought I would be, I have had a chance to ride a few other new boats since getting mine and I couldn't be more pleased with my choice. nthsand let me join others in saying "That boat Rocks!" great colors!

At least you havent been pulled over towing your boat to the lake by a local cop and then a State Trooper. Both pulled me over just to look at it. Both even asked to sit in it. I get compliments at the gas station almost every time out but I usually get multiple complements or questions every time I pull up to the popular beach area. Most common question is "how much does it cost" or "how fast does it go". I've had 2 other new wakeboats and didn't get near the attention. I think the black boats get a little more attention just because they're black.

Funny that we all get the same thing .... I really think it has to do with colors, and the name. people are so used to the big name boats and standard color pallet's that they see our boats with a name they have never heard and bright colors and it just stand out and pops. Axis is making a name for its self its coming up

Thanks guys, man being stopped by cops to see boat how funny is that. Its so funny cause every time I fill up or put in, I spend 5 minutes talking about boat. I looked at Supra, Malibu, Moomba, all kinds of boats. I put a deposit on the boat, and the day before I purchased pulled it. I went to the dealer to thank them, and walked out with it. My wife actually said, she liked it and if it was the one I wanted to just get it. She actually loved it as much as I did. The sales person the day before chased another sales person away and said boat was sold even though I pulled deposit. When I asked her why, she said I knew you would buy it.

Its getting its first service done this week, I am adding 950 plug n play ballast in front and 600 plug n play in left rear. I cant wait to check it out on Thursday for surfing. I want to also add lights to waketower for night, so I am watching that post. The Malibu company has been awesome to deal with. I will post some cool pictures daughter did on side of boat.

My neighbor walked across the street the other day when I was detailing mine, and started asking me about the wedge and how it works. I thought that was really cool and talked with him for awhile about it. I've also had several stop-and-chats with folks at the gas station or ramp. An Axis really catches the eye.
