stubbled across these, seemed like they'd be pretty easy to use. anyone used them before? or have any recommendations for an easy way to get more LED's in the interior?

The thread above has some really easy DIY led installs. Walter picked some strips up at advanced auto. I did the same and the results turned out great.

I bought mine at gadgetplus.ca, I got 5 meters for $60 and you can cut them every three lights. That's what I did for the cup holders and left them longer for under dash and under all the seats.
