Axis Wakeboard Boat Forum

april 19th we offically become part of the Axis owners. We bought a 2013 black and red axis a22. Ive grown up on boat my entire life and lately my wife and I have owned pontoon boats being easier on the kids. Now they are walking on their own the pontoon had to go and on to a way cooler ride.
any tips to a new owner of axis boats? it comes with a sound pack 2 so hows the quality of that? I always redid the sound systems in the past boats but a pontoon usually comes with pretty crappy sound systems.

Welcome. Sound Pack 2 is pretty decent. Good for overall listening, floating, and surfing. Get yourself a Wetsounds WS420 equalizer and a custom sub enclosure under the driver's helm and it'll complete the system.

You could possibly just get an EQ and some tower speakers. If you have small kids it's up to you. The system will sound decent. Exile or Wetsounds equipment will be great.

I have the sound pack 2 and the only things i had done was a custom ported box built for the sub, sub controll knob and the guy i took it to tuned system and it rocks, very loud and clean and the sub sounds great. I wouldnt buy anything else.

tuning a new sub box is no problem at all. any other tips ?
finally getting closer to go get the boat. I bought it back in Feb so this wait has been tough to not even play inside it haha

Going to need to swing away racks, a Bimini top, and arm for my mirror.. Are all these dealer parts? I can't find a lot or any websites that sell axis stuff

yeah its going to be a fun summer for sure. I played around with the wake yesterday. Another guy on the water has a 12 a22 that he had bought from a family with pro wakeboard kids. So i got to see all the stuff mine didn't have on it haha.
